Dear Parents and Guardians,
Welcome to a new school year! All of us at Westgate Christian School A Fine Arts & Technology Academy would like to make this a successful year for your child. Your active support and cooperation combined with our best professional efforts will ensure academic success for all our students. The WCS staff of well-educated, dedicated, talented Christian teachers look forward to a successful, exciting year.
We invite you to become involved in Westgate Christian School. The home-school partnership is strengthened by your involvement, and there is a spirit of cooperation and progress at our school that we would like to share with you.
There will be many school activities throughout the year that will give you the opportunity to become involved in your child's education. We encourage you to make these activities a part of your schedule. We realize that not all parents or guardians can attend school functions, but we encourage you to demonstrate to your children that you're interested in their schoolwork by setting aside a few minutes each day to:
* listen while your child describes school day activities
* read to your child
* listen while your child reads to you
* help with homework
Please feel free to stop in and introduce yourself, or ask a question about anything that concerns you. We look forward to working together as partners in learning. A Back to School Night will be held Sunday, August 2, 2009 at 4:00. Classes begin August 10.
