Your child will learn to demonstrate simple rhythms, tempos, scales and intervals.Upon graduation from the elementary program, the student will be able to identify terms and symbols and begin sight readinggiven pieces of music.Focus will also be given to music history including composers and famous artists.

Mrs. Thrift graduated from LouisianaTechUniversity with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Performance.Mrs. Thrift has taught music in the private and public sector for the past eleven years.She has taught an after school performance choir and private voice lessons at WCS for the past four years .Mrs. Thrift has a passion for singing and teaching, which she is excited to share with her students in this musically advanced class.
